Intended audience: clinical services coord - csc

An allocation recommendation is a list of recipients who match a consented organ based on provincial and national polices.

Clinical Services Coordinators (CSCs) use this list to offer the consented organ to transplant programs.

Running an allocation recommendation

These instructions apply to running the first allocation recommendation for an organ. If an allocation needs to be run again, see Discontinue allocations and offers and Re-run an allocation recommendation.

  1. Go to the donor profile, then select Organ > Allocation / eOffer on the sidebar.

    • Allocation Controls is at the top of the Allocation / eOffer section.

  2. Select the Run Allocation Recommendation button.

The system compiles, filters, and ranks all eligible organ recipients and expands the Allocation/eOffer section. For reference, see About allocation algorithm steps.
