Different types of offers can be made to a recipient.
Primary Offer | For the recipient who is the primary candidate to receive the organ transplant.
|
Backup Offer | A backup offer can be made to one or more recipients. Backup offers notify Transplant Programs of an available donor organ and allow them to consider an organ offer before they are the primary recipient. If the primary offer is declined, a backup offer can be converted to a primary offer. |
No Offer | No Offer can be used when a recipient on the allocation will not receive an organ offer. The reason that the organ was not offered to the recipient will be required. No Offer cannot be used when a recipient on the allocation is flagged as an HSP(Kidney) or HSH (Heart). |
Pending Offer | This is the default state for all ranked recipients after an allocation is run. |
