Access deceased donor documents
Intended audience: clinical services coord-csc transplant coordinator transplant physician
During the offer process, physicians and coordinators at transplant programs can review clinical information about the deceased donor. This information is contained in documents attached to the donor’s profile.
Transplant program access to these documents is temporary.
After an offer is declined, access expires after 24 hours.
After an offer is accepted, access expires after 30 days.
Transplant programs can only view and download donor documents if an offer has been made to their transplant program, and if the organ has not already been accepted by another program.
Download donor documents
To save a document that has been posted to OATS.
Go to the donor profile, then select Profile > Donor Documents on the sidebar.
In the Uploaded Documents table, in the row of the document to be downloaded, select the file name (blue hyperlink).
Documents can be sourced from PCR, from iTransplant, or from CTR.
With your PC’s (or other device’s) file management tools, save the document in the appropriate file location.
A copy of the document is saved to the device and can be accessed with the appropriate tools. (e.g., PDF viewer).
