Post-transplant recipient follow-up information is collected annually by TGLN for up to ten years after transplantation for recipients who received a transplant on or after January 1, 2015. TGLN does not require any follow-up information for recipients who received a transplant prior to January 1, 2015.
The recipient’s status and other follow-up assessment information is entered in the system to support longitudinal analysis of recipient outcomes.
Transplant Program staff can subscribe to receive automated reminders when it is time to enter follow-up information for a given recipient (reminders are sent one year after the transplant or the last follow-up). Significant changes to a recipient’s status, such as graft failure, recipient death, and lost to follow-up, should be logged as soon as they are known.
