Intended audience: living donor coordinator transplant program admin

The living donor interface is not complete for Phase 1 of the OATS project. The following sequence is the recommended best practice while the system is being enhanced.

  1. On the living donor list page, select Add New Living Donor.

  2. Provide mandatory and optional demographic information.

  3. Provide mandatory and optional contact information.

  4. Provide mandatory and optional clinical information.

  5. Save Living Donor.

  6. Provide donation information and Save that section.

  7. Specify a link between donor and recipient (if donation is directed) and Save that section.

  8. Specify Donation Destination and Save that section.

  9. Provide virology results and Save that section.

Additional optional data and new virology results can be added at any time after the living donor profile has been saved at least once.

Links to recipients, donation information, and donation destination can be changed after those sections have been saved at least once.
